Elevating 8 Strength Training Subscription: Weekly Sessions


Membership Policies


Monthly Dues

Your monthly dues provides you up to the designated number of session per week throughout the course of a calendar month. If you would like to increase your sessions, an Add-On package is available, or you can also upgrade your membership.


Dues must be paid at the start of each monthly period and serve as a retainer fee, which allowing your session times to be reserved on a recurring basis. Single purchase package sessions must be booked by you through the booking process using the calendar on the website and are open on a first come first serve basis.


Monthly dues not received by your due date are subject to late fees and removal of your sessions from the booking calendar. See below.


Payment Methods

Payments are preferred through the website via debit or credit card. All subscription and membership payments made through the website are automatically recurring. If you do not wish to continue training, you MUST cancel your subscription prior to your due date.


Payments are also accepted via check, cash and Zelle. Please consider that these payment methods are preferred to be reserved only for necessity AND are still subject to late fees and removal of sessions when not received on time.


Late Payments

When your payment is not received within the 5 days after your due date, your sessions are subject to cancellation and removal from the calendar until payment is received. A late fee will be applied to any payment received 5 or more days late. The late fee will be invoiced at 10% of your package rate. Please note that this means you are no longer guaranteed availability for regular training sessions.


Cancellation of Sessions

Sessions must be cancelled or rescheduled prior to 24 hours in advance of the appointment time, via text or email to Codi.


Rescheduling Sessions

All sessions are subject to expiration. Unless otherwise arranged and agreed to by Codi, sessions expire within the same billing period.

Late Cancellation of Sessions

Late Cancelled sessions include those canceled less than 24 hours prior to scheduled start time. Late sessions are counted as a redeemed session.


If you need to reschedule a session, it is your responsibility to communicate this to Codi. Sessions not rescheduled within your month will expire in the computer system. You need to communicate with Codi, preferably by email, to request make up sessions be credited to your account after the month rolls over.


Depending on availability Late Cancelled sessions may be rescheduled at a rate of $30 per session (half-hour sessions) and $60 per session (hour sessions).


Refunds

No refunds and no partial refunds will be given unless serious negligence leading to unsafe practice has occurred. Your session fees are offered at a reduced rate within the retainer fee. As a part of the package, the individual session price paid would be much higher. Additionally, your monthly retainer fee serves as a transaction for your reservation of my time and resources. For these reasons, among other, there is no partial refunds or partal month payments that can be made.


Pausing or Extending Monthly Plan

The only time that recurring plans will be paused is when there is an unforeseen interruption in training, such as an injury or illness sustained by Codi, where rescheduling is hindered by the longevity of Codi's absense.


Plans will also be extended in the event of a severe or long-term injury or illness by a client, which prevents training from occurring for a period greater than 2 weeks.


Please note that while you may cancel your next payment for travel, you may not pause your subscription unless prior arrangements have been agreed to by Codi.


Canceling Your Monthly Payment Cancels Membership

It should be made clear that when you cancel your membership you do not receive client privleges. You will be removed from the list as a client and are not guaranteed availability upon your wish to return.

Considerations and Administrative Elements


Session Times

All sessions are technically 50 minutes in length, although generally sessions will last the duration of the hour. Please allow up to 10 minutes within the start of the hour for Codi in the event of a delay.


Please note that if your session begins at 2:30pm, it does not begin until then. This means 2:28pm and 2:29pm belong to Codi. Please do not approach her until your scheduled time out of respect for her time and anyone whom she may be with.


Session times are agreed to at the beginning of the month. Rescheduling these sessions is subject to availability. Codi makes every potential new client aware of the general availability prior to sign on. If you need alteration to your recurring session times, you must view the booking calendar on the website and select from there. While Codi understands that things come up, if no sessions are available that meet your new needs, Codi will not provide a refund as your monthly payment served as a commitment to your training and your training times.


Late Arrivals

Please note that without communication from you, Codi allows up to 10 minutes for a grace period. After 10 minutes and without communication from you, your session will count as a late cancel/no show.


Please note that Codi does not set up equipment ahead of time for clients who have a history of running late for sessions.


Please note that late arrivals do not extend session times. Sessions end at the scheduled end time.


Use of Facilities at Pasadena Strength and Conditioning

Clients are prohibited from being in the gym when they do not have a scheduled appointment with Codi.


Zero Tolerance

Codi and any other Elevating 8 employee will not tolerate any form of inappropriate behavior from a client, including verbal abuse, harassment, physical aggression, or any other conduct that violates professional boundaries, and will immediately terminate the training sessions if such behavior occurs, with no exceptions or warnings.


A healthy, appropriate and professional client/trainer relationship is important to Codi and any occurrences of deviations from such will lead to an evaluation of the client/trainer fit.


Mutual Transaction Agreement

Clients and trainers agree to a mutual transaction at the will of both parties.


Notice should be provided by either party, whenever possible, ahead of changes in the training plan.


Clients are not locked in to any extended time commitment beyond the current month for which they have either paid or failed to cancel. Clients are free to terminate the relationship for the month ahead at will without penalty.


Codi may terminate any client membership when the client has violated any of these policies or become a liability to Codi, Elevating 8 Empowered Movement Programs and/or Pasadena Strength and Conditioning.

Respect for Personal Time and Policies Required

Please note that Codi is the sole owner and operator of Elevating 8, in order to keep the training as affordable as possible for clients. Codi does not work 24/7 and does not guarantee immediate responses to communications. Please do not expect responses on the weekends, or beyond professional business hours during the week. Please allow up to 5 business days for a response.


All policies have been set in place as an effort to protect clients, Codi and the needs of the buisiness. All policies are subject to change as needed in order adapt to the needs of the business.


Codi is only able to accept a limited number of clients. For this reason, Elevating 8 operates in strict adherence to membership policies. Any client who is unwilling to adhere to the policies above will be removed as a client in order to protect the interest of Codi and Elevating 8 and all other clients, which Elevating 8 serves.
